Chinese New Year is always a happy occasion for the kids. The girls woke up bright and earlier and got ready for an action packed day of house visiting.

Many have also been misled by Jolyn’s angelic smile to think that she is an angel all the time.  Welcome to the dark side of Jolyn.

Jolyn rarely speaks when she is among strangers.  Many people have a hard time believing that she is a blabber mouth at home.  Well here is the prove.

Nic had to get her nose checked at KK Hospital and she was very excited about the adventure.

We arrived for our appointment early at 4.00 p.m. and only got to see the doctor more than an hour later. The consultation lasted for about 5 minutes and we sent out off the room. In the end, Nic was very upset that we had to wait for so long.

Aunt Agnes just gave birth to a bouncing baby boy and Nic is seen here fanning him.

Nic and I decided to give Jolyn a surprise by fetching her back from school. So, we asked Ah Mah to stay at home and we waited outside her school. Naturally, she was delighted to see us.

Nicole played the role of big sister perfectly.

Then Jolyn tripped…

… and Nic held her sister’s hands all the way home.

We are contemplating to get an 7-seater MPV to replace our aging Hyundai Matrix. As part of our pre-purchase intelligence gathering process, we visited a car showroom near our place to have a feel of what we can afford.

As it turns out, our options were very limited, mainly due to the size of our bank account. The girls on the other hand, have another car in mind.
